I’m excited to announce that my new book is now available at WPStew.com. My book covers basic XHTML, basic CSS and how to use both of them in WordPress. No other book covers these three topics in relationship to each other.
I wrote this book because I’ve met a number of people who were frustrated with WordPress because they couldn’t get what they wanted out of their site. It may have been a table layout, background images or font colors. But, I realized that in all of these cases if these people just knew a bit of HTML or CSS they could get what they wanted from their WordPress website.
My book is written in a conversational style to keep it interesting. The book consists of these five sections:
- Basic XHTML where you’ll practice writing tags and learn about the structure of web pages
- Create a simple website on your local computer
- Bsic CSS where you learn CSS syntax and practice writing rules
- Apply CSS to the website you created on your local computer
- Take your new HTML and CSS skills and apply them in a WordPress website
All of the sections are hands-on because that’s the best way to learn.
You can cover each section in a week or less. Just imagine how satisfied you’ll be when you finish this amazing book and apply your new skills to your website. Or maybe you’ll start working on other websites for money.
The book is available in PDF format for immediate download. Check it out here: The WP Stew Guide to HTML + CSS + WordPress
